15 Unbelievable Animal AI Art Fails That Are Both Horrifying And Hilarious

AI art is everywhere now. From filters on social media to AI that can write anything you tell it to, it's starting to become a part of normal life. But, just because it has all the intelligence of the internet, doesn't make it perfect. AI is still lacking in a lot of areas, and it produces some pretty wild fails that are almost unbelievable.

For example, AI still has a lot of difficulty discerning pets and other animals. We don't know why, but the results some people posted of trying to use AI to generate an image of an animal, or by using a filter on their pets, are hilarious. And terrifying. Well, really they're both. It's like a train wreck, you can't look away because of the horrific fascination. Some are milder than others, and some are legit nightmare fuel. Well, AI is still young in its development, so there's plenty of room for improvement. Guess we'll just have to keep taking pictures of our pets and posting them on the internet…it's for science!

This image could be worse. For some reason, the AI gave the wolf three ears, and for no apparent reason the two together are almost as large as the whole wolf. Good try, we give the AI a 6/10 because the rest of the image is actually quite nice.

This one….creativity - 9/10. The actual image though….it's like a ditto (from Pokemon) mixed with a cat. It looks so….goopy. And the cat is looking into the distance like it knows it's a terrible science project that went wrong.
